Open Gigabot Repair

I tuned an Open Gigabot by re3D to achieve high print quality. The Open Gigabot is an open-source 2'x2'x2' 3D printer that was purchased on kickstarter - 12 of this model exist. My contributions to this project include 1. Using advanced simplify3D commands to control machine behavior, from basic slicing settings to custom starting g-code scripts 2. Performing root cause analysis to resolve filament grinding problems - I rerouted direct drive teflon tubing to reduce frictional losses and designed new machine hardware to direct the filament spool 3. Conducting thermal analysis of the machine using a FLIR camera to identify heating issues in the Azteeg x3 Pro development board.3. Tuning DRV8825 stepper motor drivers to rated current in the development board.
